	Maçka Mezat Incorporation was founded in 1990 as an auctioneering company by Ahmet Utku who has 35 years of experience in the art and antique world and his wife Ayşe Utku. Maçka Mezat is one of the pioneers in launching Ottoman works of art and Turkish paintings in auctions. A wide array of artefacts are offered for sale in Maçka Mezat auctions, primanly Ottoman silver, tombaks, ceramics, and calligraphy as well as European nad Russian works of art, orientalist paintings and Chinese porcelain.
